Please check this list of FAQs before asking for technical support on the SB200a | ||||||||||||
If you are an Si8000 customer with a version V2.30 and below, you will need to move to V3.00 or above to enjoy communication with the SB200 professional - read this note first. | ||||||||||||
1. My
SB200 does not print PDFs correctly - the text is corrupted and the
pictures unclear. Please check you use Distiller to output the file from Acrobat. Some versions of Adobe have 2 output printer drivers - PDF Writer and Distiller. Always choose distiller. Polar recommends Acrobat 6.0. However the SB200 has been tested on both Acrobat 4.0 and Acrobat 5.0 |

2. How
do I set the units - can I use metric or imperial measurements? You need to use consistently the same type of measurement on the SB200a. Start by loading the default library in the unit of your choice, and whilst using that library resource you need to consistently use the same unit type. |

3. When
I install the demonstration SB200, where do I locate the license file? Please contact your local polar sales contact to arrange for a demonstration licence file to be sent to you. On receipt of the licence (*.lic) please place the licence in the: C:\Program Files\Polar\Licences folder On next startup of the
SB200 please navigate to this file when requested by the software. Once
you have located the file the software will activate for the demonstration
period. |

4. When
I purchase the SB200, I still see the Evaluation edition watermark ?
C:\Program Files\Polar\Licences
folder Place the new
licence in this folder and restart the SB200, and navigate to the new
licence file you have just received. The SB200 will now operate in fully
licenced mode. |
