Prior to running this procedure:

Note: This software patch applies to Si8000m v17.04 and v17.07 only

a) Contact Polar Instruments to verify this is the latest version of this document. (This document issued 20 May 2020)

b) Request updated licenses for Si8000m Interface Module for integration with Frontline InPlan / InStack V5.0 and above from polarcare@polarinstruments.com

c) Request link for patch download.

Procedure:

1. Check that the current version of Si8000m is v17.04 or v17.07 and that calculations are being performed correctly
   (Check the version via Si8000m Help|About)





2. Close the Si8000m


3. Install the patch


4. With the patch installed, delete the currently installed licenses for Si8000m and Si8000IM and replace with the new licenses





5. Run the Si8000m and use Help|About to check the CalcEngineBEMDLL.dll reports as v17.06 or greater


6. Check the Si8000m calculations function correctly


7. Work with Frontline to connect the Interface Module to InPlan / InStack
