New releases of Si8000m / Si9000e / Speedstack and CGen
are also shipping. These are minor releases which tidy up
a number of underlying areas, such as moving to the
latest version of FlexNet, and making the applications
fully compliant with Microsoft guidelines for installation
on more recent versions of Windows.
Whilst I understand many of our customers like to hold
back from the very latest release, it is also wise not to
hold off more than a couple of years otherwise updating
can become more challenging. This release (being a follow
on from some very significant changes earlier in the year)
is probably a wise release to adopt for the more cautious
user. At most there is a small chance we may have to
re issue your FlexNet .lic file to accommodate changes made
by Flexera.
