T6000 - (Out of production)

This popular fault locator is now out of
production, the following details are for
reference only.

The best equivalent in current production is the PFL760
or PFL780.

T6000

Hi-tech or low-tech, no matter what business you are in, if electronics plays a part in it, then POLAR's T6000 will ensure a fault is quickly located to component level. You stay "up and running" and achieve a fast turnaround.

Easy to use. . . no computer knowledge required.

POLAR presents the ultimate trouble-shooter to complement their extensive range of fault-finding equipment.

The T6000 allows fast, efficient, and safe servicing, giving cost savings from a faster turnaround on faulty boards.

The T6000 will rapidly pay for itself by enabling non-specialised service engineers to take on electronic repairs. Previously these would have meant returning printed circuit boards to manufacturers for costly repair or replacement. Service centres specialising in electronic repair will also find the T6000 of major benefit in fault finding to component level.

It's safe too, because the T6000 tests the suspect board without power being applied to it. It can be used as a stand-alone fault finder, automatically comparing a reference board to a suspect one. When linked to a PC, the powerful software package compares the electronically stored signatures of a good board with those of the faulty board.

Once learned, a board's signatures can be copied to floppy disk and sent to other service centres equipped with POLAR's "T" range of fault finders allowing similar checks to be made.

Features:

  • Rapid pay back.
  • Successful even when circuit diagrams and data are not available.
  • Ideal for any business or industry which uses electronics.
  • Stored information about circuits can be shared within a company.
  • Can be used alone or with a PC.
  • Shorts test facility improves fault detection.
  • Suitable for use on any type of electrical component or printed circuit board.
  • Enables repairs on the technology of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
  • Ideal for checking low volume manufacture of boards where flexibility and economy are called for.
  • Compatible with other fault-finding equipment in Polar's "T" range of instruments
